Natural genetic variation of the Bourbon variety. It was discovered on Reunion Island (formerly known as Bourbon Island in the Indian Ocean). They have the smallest and roundest beans known in the coffee world. The plant is tall and conical in shape.

Flavour profile - Delicate sharp acidity. Chocolate and nut tones, sweet and penetrating aroma. Complex and sweet body with a long aftertaste.

Very old and rare variety, it is one of the wild coffees of Ethiopia. It was discovered near the Ethiopian town called Gesha, in the southwestern region of Ethiopia from which it took its name. It is a tall bush with thin and slender leaves. The distance between branches on the central stem is very wide. The grains are long and thin.

Geisha contains 30% less caffeine than other varieties of Arabica coffee. Geisha production is extremely low, which is why it is difficult to find commercial plantations of this coffee.

Flavour profile - Delicate with serene aromas of herbs, blooming jasmine, lavender, fresh cocoa, molasses and pipe tobacco. Delicate acidity, medium body and silky texture.

Wild coffee variety originating from the Rume people in the highlands of the southeastern region of Sudan. Tall plant. Long and elongated grain.

Flavour profile - Flavours of ripe fruit, blackberry, and apricot, subtle taste of wine that is combined with tastes of flowers and aromatic wood. Delicate but aggressive acidity. Medium body. The cup ends with sweet and juicy notes.

It is characterized by a late maturation of its cherries, which allows a marked development of its flavours. Low plant with dense, fairly dark green foliage. Its grains are medium-sized and rounded.

Flavour profile - Bright and vibrant acidity reminiscent of green apple acidity. The aroma is sweet and deep, similar to tamarind. Its body is silky with a long aftertaste.

Fresh coconut meat harvested, sliced, seasoned and dehydrated for 16-18 hours in an Excalibur dehydrator. All coconut meat used is sourced from local, organic beach coconuts.

Although it's indigestible, the fibre in corn offers many other advantages, like regulating bowel movements and managing blood sugar levels and is a great snack with a sprinkle of olive oil, cumin and paprika!

While originally from Asia, ginger grows in the wild in Costa Rica and generally flowers between August and January and really is one of our superfood favourites. It has so many uses and health benefits such as helping with digestion, improving immunity, healthier skin, can relieve nausea or upset stomach and can even alleviate PMS symptoms.

There are so many different versions of limes in Costa Rica. There are the traditional limes like the ones you’re probably used to back home and then there are some native limes that have a slightly different flavour called limón mandarina. These local limes are super high in vitamin C and antioxidants — both of which may offer health benefits. Eating limes or drinking the juice may improve immunity, reduce heart disease risk factors, prevent kidney stones, aid iron absorption, and promote healthy skin. Great to have a few art hand, for squeezing on crunchy mango, making homemade ceviche or guacamole.
